Hey there you makeup junkies! Which blush color from the Nars collection do you think look best on me?
Ok, I have no picture to show you how I look like, but I will describe myself in words and hopefully it will help at least a little. I'm Asian, my skin tans easily rather than burn, warm-toned, chestnut brown hair color (my hair is naturally black but I colored it), %26amp; brown eyes. I bought ';gina'; because I thought I looked good in an orangey shade since I'm warm, not cool. But it looks too orange and fake if you know what I mean. I rather wear peach because it gives me that healthy glow and highlights my cheeks. I don't wear pink because it makes me look kind of washed out, so I prefer peach. Oh yeah, I like shimmery blushes, not matte because I like the healthy glow. Which color from Nars blushes do you think looks best on me? Oh yeah, I went on the website but it's hard to see which color matches me from the site alone. I'm thinking maybe ';torrid?';Hey there you makeup junkies! I have the same skin color as you and I purchased two of their products. I went for the NARS blush in Gilda. The color seemed really bright but looked really natural. And the other thing I bought that I loved is the NARS multiple orgasm set two. The bronzer is great to to contour the cheeks and the blush was more of a pink peach color that looked natural. I liked to layer the two colors as well. My mother bought the gina and it looked weird on her as well she just returned it for a different shade.Hey there you makeup junkies! yeah looked at dat on da site, i fink that wud luk cool! go for it gal!
oasis, passion, or madly..
and i also sugest this product since you want that healthy glow: http://www.narscosmetics.com/acb/stores/鈥?/a>
That orgasm color sounds like it would work well for you. It definitely is more peach, although described as peachy-pink. I think the shimmer in it would look great with your skin too.hair accessories

Why does my makeup get so shiny within about 2 hours? I wear Mac and Queen Latifah's collection?
As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years. This happens because first the BRAND and second you do not have the right cleansing routine for your skin type. I highly recommend using the Oil Defense line or Papaya products by Bee Luscious Cosmetics along with the Ultimatte T-Zone mattifier and then their liquid minerals and pressed powder. This line holds up to everything
Is this makeup collection to big for a 12 year old?

hahaha!
oh god!
huge collection!
im 24 %26amp; i don't have that much with me
i just have the necessities..
eyeshadow palettes, udpp, mineral foundations, mineral shadows, a few mascara, concealer, gel liner, kohl liner, eye make up remover, makeup remover %26amp; that's it.
im a beauty blogger, but i don't have a collection like yours..
i think the other person had already said it. Too much makeup will make a person look fake %26amp; trying so hard to be beauty. Again, makeup is just used to accentuate you not cover you.
Just use powder to take the shine off your face..
line your eyes to define the shape..
open your eyes with a mascara %26amp; brighten your lips with a simple pink gloss.
No matter how people say that makeup will make you look beautiful, lots of people still believe that being beautiful is skin deep
^_~Is this makeup collection to big for a 12 year old?
I'm a make- up junkie when it comes to eyeshadows, eyeliners %26amp; lip products , so I 'm not judging you.
You are still experimenting with colours , textures , I think it's okay . If you don't suit the colour you can give to your sister, cousin , friends, etc.
Words of advice though , use oil free, non comodegenic(doesn't clog pores) tinted moisturizer instead of foundation.
Take care of your skin and makeup will look great !
yes. i'm older than that, and all i use is powder (to conceal pimples), lip gloss and sometimes mascara. really all you need at your age is maybe a powder (if you get pimples), SPF chapstick, lip gloss, and maybe mascara. you can use vaseline on your eyelashes (doesn't clump and is good for your eyelashes) and lips!
just a little. I am 13 years old and all i wear is:
Eyeliner;
Mascara;
and;
foundation.
I don't need alot because people think im already pretty.
but if you wear alot of makeup people will think you are fake;;
and you dont want that to happen. So wear a little so you can still see your pretty face! :)
Well for me it is a bit much, when I was 12 I didn't wear makeup. But if you do want to wear it I would say all you need is mascara and foundation and lip gloss/chap stick.
I would save the eyeliner and eyeshadow for special occasions.
yes, you should only need cover-up, foundation, eyeshadow, and maybe eyeliner and mascara when you are 12! Or else you look like you want to be older, but then you look like a slut and stupid. You also really don't need lipstick.
i don't think so because its not like you have to wear it all at once, right? i love makeup and i have about that much, i get compliments on my makeup all the time so its not like i'm wearing too much. i'm almost 15
i'm 12 and have this:
2 eyeliners
mascara
foundation
eyeshadow
chapstick
yeah; you have a bit much.
when i was 12 i had bath and body works lipgloss and mascara
occasionally i had some eyeliner
the only reason i had lipstick, foundation, blush etc. was for school musicals
uh..definitely too much. I just had some concealer, blush, lipgloss, and mascara when i was 12. Youre not even a teen yet. You're not supposed to have too much makeup. Protray ur natural beauty.
it's a little much for your age. natural is better but as long as you keep the makeup light and not overly done, but watever floats your boat.
yes at 12 you shouldnt even be wearing makeup never mind expensive brands like MAC and NARS
All you need at your age is a lip balm and good sunblock.
I would say so,at 12 years old I didn't wear that much makeup.I didn't really wear makeup until I turned 18.
Silly girl
Go play barbies =]
no! as long as your not wearing it all at once lol - i love makeup and i think its fun
yes that make up collection is to big for a 12 year old
yes its too much and u probly dun even need 80% of it.. or 90% of it.. you don't even need make up at all..when i was 12 I didn't even own any makeup product at all
Yes, your twelve for goodness sakes. I remember when i was twelve the girls with the huge makeup collections always looked so chalky and fake. Makeup is to accent your beauty, not cover it up until nothing's left. Oh, and no matter what type you use, makup is never good for your skin. Even when its oil free, it clogs your pores.
Ok... this is gonna be crazy right now, but I am gonna list my collection so all these people don't make you feel bad.
If you enjoy it, then why the hell not!
I spend my money on what makes me happy! And makeup makes me happy, so people can **** off if they ***** and complain about what you like!
As long as you do it well I don't see the problem.

Help! My makeup collection needs a makeover!?
Ok recently I haven't been feeling as pretty as I once was... I want to buy some new beauty products. What are your favourites?
Specifically, I want to try some mineral makeup... what's the best? Especially if it makes you look tanner because the skin on my face is way lighter than my body.
And the best easy to use liquid eyeliner?
Just any tips/products are gooodd.. I especially like this look:

BareMinerals.
Easy to use and blend, get warmth. Gives a very tan look.
Covers all scars and blemishes.
Stays on for a longg time.
As for makeup, go with MAC.
Or Rimmel London (which is at all drug stores.)
Definitely take a took at this liquid eyeliner:
http://www.rimmellondon.com/US/products/鈥?/a>
Its easy to use.
They have awsome dark and cool tones.Help! My makeup collection needs a makeover!?
the best mineral makeup is bareminerals.
http://www.amazon.com/Escentuals-bareMin鈥?/a>
it is expensive. but its worth every penny. trust me, i bought it on a 15-year-old's budget. the kit comes with 2 foundations, 1 warmth face color (this makes your face look tanner), and a mineral veil. also it has primer, all the brushes you need, and a video that shows you how to apply it. i've had mine for about 6 months and i'm about halfway done with it, so it lasts a while.
i use almay liquid liner in black. all liquid liners are hard to get used to. it takes practice. have wet q-tips on hand when your applying it. they make it easy to fix mistakes. i like almay bcuz all the other black liquid liner that i've used have like glitter in them and it looks weird.
For the least expensive Mineral makeup, I would recommend Maybelline Mineral Power liquid and powder.
MAC is good for color. They have extensive eye shadows and their lipstick colors are beautiful. My favorite is Ramblin' Rose.
I really like their face primer. It will make your makeup last longer and your skin feel very smooth.
For eyebrows, get a an eyeshadow shade that matches your haircolor and a slanted shadow brush to apply to maintain your shape. Always apply a champagne frost eyeshadow shimmer above your eyebrows and at the corners of your eyes to liven up your face. Use a bronzer for a blush. To get the eyeliner look. Use a slanted eyeshadow/liner brush with a gel eye liner that you dip the brush into. This is not runny or messy like most liquid eyeliner. I recommend black/brown. I use Avon satin gel eye liner. Hope this helps. Good luck!
I'm not a fan of mineral powders because they don't last and don't add any color to your face. I like Clinique Superfit liquid foundation with Clinique loose powder, Lo'real Le-Kohl black eyeliner, Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara (in soft black) and Sally Hanson clear lipglosses. Those are my favorites and they should help get that look, and also i have no idea about liquid liner, sorry!

My best product brand is MAC.
The cosmetics are high quality, and make your skin glow and enhance your natural beauty!
They also have a mineral line that is wonderful, I have just about every product. I use this line because I like to give my skin a tan look as well, which their mineralize powder does perfectly.
Bare Minerals covers nicely and they have an AWESOME natural looking bronzer. As for eye makeup, I love mac! For natural lip gloss I like just the plain Saphora brand $10 tubes. I have never found a liquid eye liner i liked so now I use Beauty control Liner and mascara and I love it. Hope I helped!

same problem here. give me the answers when you get it please!!
I understand completley, I felt the same way, now I get compliments all the time on my skin which is funny because I am acne prone. I used sooo many products, brands and finishes.....Estee lauder, Mary Kay, Cliniqe, Nars, Mac, Loreal, Maybelline, etc etc.....I always had breakouts and very drab dull skin. Someone on yahoo answers recommended Faerie Organic Minerals to me and I looked up their site. They give a lot of info you should read about commercial mainstream products. The very products I was using was causing my breakouts! Mac highly clogs pores, maybelline all of the brands above use chemical fillers and greasing agents (moisturizers) that can cause something called ';chemical induced acne';. This is exactly what I had because once I changed over to the natural brands my face rarely breaks out. If you are wanting to look gorgeous and radiant I am telling you, you really need to get their free sample kit, I am so glad I did. They give you several foundation colors, bronzer and a top powder, mine lasted me like 2 weeks. They are light, airy, cover well, and leave a dewy glow. If you wanted to look like the photo you could easily do it with the samples. I would recommend a tannish color foundation (you should always match your neck though) and use their bronzer to warm up your face. You have to try it I know its what you are looking for and they are good for your skin. BTW I see other suggested Bare Escentuals-watch out for these I used them in the past and they made me look very greasy, they came off very quick and they made my face itch. They use an ingredient called Bismuth Oxychloride which has a very high allgery rating, I was apparently allergic to it, which is another reason I love faeries minerals because they do not use it. You can get their samples here.......http://www.faerieorganic.com

My Makeup Collection Question?
I'm trying to build my makeup collection and have a variety of products.
I have:
A primer
3 liquid foundations
4 loose powder foundations
3 concealers (one a shade dark, one a shade lighter, one for undereye)
3 highlighters
1 bronzers
About 35 eyeshadows (variety of powders, creams, etc.)
5 brushes
6 eyeliners
4 mascaras
1 eyelash curler
20 lipglosses
5 lipsticks
It's an even mixture of department store and drugstore brands.
And I'm 14.
What do you suggest I buy next. Any brand or product suggestions?
Thanks!My Makeup Collection Question?
You don't say what type of brushes, but that's the first area I would make an investment. I would start off with a good powder, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, crease brushes. Other than that, maybe an eyeshadow primer (that is if you need one) and blush. My Makeup Collection Question?
Your right you have got a collection. I suggest Revlon because of their gorgeous new colors.
No collection is a collection without MAC!
try urban decay and loreal eye shadow and mac and mary kay came out with some very good ones.
more eyeliner:) it's always better.
i don't even own half that or can pronoce half that adn im 14 too.

My makeup collection?
is pretty big.
last year, i got sooo into makeup. i was doing all these crazy makeup looks, every day. and i would spend every last penny i had on makeup (not smart, i know)
especially since i have to start saving up for a car.
(and those of you who havent bought from MAC before, eyeshadow are $14, mascaras are $11, foundation is $25, ect.)
and it wasnt like i was just buying what i needed, i was buying stuff just to try it out.
stupiddddd!
but so this year I'm more into the easier looks, but ive got so much makeup.
and allot of it is high end (mostly MAC).
which i worked pretty hard for and i have a problem with just giving it away.
so my question is, what do i do?
i cant just give it away, but its to late to sell it.
GAHH!
i just want to have a small makeup bag again, enough to take up my desk.
helpp?
10 points.My makeup collection?
Sell what you can. If you have any shadows, palletes etc. that are barely used--I would put them on ebay or craig's list. Otherwise you're, SOL. My advice to you would be only buy expensive necessities. Like getting high end foundation, primer but just regular brand eyeshadows, blushes etc. Every once in a while when you have a little extra money, you can treat yourself to something nice, a new color etc. but don't have an entire shopping spree for make up. Keep to natural/neutral colors. I also went a big make up crazy a year ago, and now I don't wear any of the bright colors I have anymore. I stick to a brown smokey eye look pretty much every day. My makeup collection?
you could tell your family or close friends that you dont want it anymore and that you are willing to sell it to them if they want anything. you could make up prices for everything you have. eyeshadow could be 7 or 8 dollars instead of the 14. it could all go at half price. or if you hardly used some of the stuff, sell it for however much you bought it for.
If you have a little sister or cousin then why dont you give it to them. I bet they dont want to spend as much money as you did on it. Also do not give it to your friends cause its unsanitary but if you give them to your sister or a family member their family and I am sure they would appreciate it. Hoped this helped.
See if your friends or family will buy it from you for 1/2 price or sell it on e-bay in one auction as a buy-it-now low cost (specify that it's used and obviously you would not sell mascara or lipgloss), but maybe you could make a couple bucks off of it so it's not a total loss.
I would just throw all that stuff away. Who will buy used makeup? It's not sanitary. But MK offers a Makeup Compact Pro thats cute, stylish and portable. MK is also the Best in Color Cosmetics and has been for the past 14 years in a row so Mac does'nt stand a chance. Check it out!
Ebayy :D
use makeup alley! it lets you swap your used or unused makeup for things you actually want! it's great!!!!!
Give it away to family or friends for half the price.
lol send it to me i love crazy colors i'll pay u the shipping lol
How much money are you talking about (original cost)??? If it's hundreds of dollars, then you should chalk it up as a lesson learned. From what you've written, it sounds as if most of your ';investment'; is in eye color and you won't be able to sell those through any retail outlet.
You can put it away for awhile and when your tastes change again, it will be like ';new';. Or, young girls LOVE makeup.......and it's cheaper than toy makeup.....do you have little sisters or little cousins?
Another idea is to find a Mary Kay consultant.....She might be willing to give you a big discount to earn your loyalty and make it not quite so painful to chunk the motley assortment you have. It's a well-priced line and appeals to all ages.....not just your mother's makeup anymore. Even better, you could become a consultant and be paid to play!
Yeah, you're right. You can't sell used makeup. Giving it away is sketchy too as bacteria can develop on products such as lipstick, mascara, and eye-pencils. Eyeshadow and blush might be the only thing you might be able to give, but no one really wants someone else's used make-up. No matter how close you are to the person, it's still kind of gross. Why don't you just use up what you can? Sounds like you won't have to spend any $$ on make-up for some time. That will save you some bucks.
