It has the C on one temple and the D on the other temple, and in the middle, right where your nose is, it says Christian Dior.... Real or Fake? Sorry I don't have a picture. From what you said I think these are fake. Did you pay a lot for them? usually genuine Dior sunnies have CD on each temple and on the inside of the arms, it should say christian dior. How do i fix a broken strap on a christian dior saddle bag?
i'm looking for a creative way to fix my bag, if you are fimiliar with the saddle bag strap it is connected to the bad by a C and D, the metal has broken leaving C detached from the D. I've tried wireing it together, but it falls apart, same with fishing wire. I've tried very heavy apoxy, and that didnt work either, i dont think welding will either. it's a knock off so taking it in to a store isnt an option either. if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Ok I would get a handbag (Dior has great handbags), sunglasses, and it some cute tops. Dior has great clothing, sunglasses, handbags, etc. Not every name brand (despite its costs) is high quality, I have gotten several items from luxury brands that were constructed poorly, but every item from Dior I have ever seen, had, or known someone who had seems to be made quite well.

I have very oily skin and Dior foundation is the only one that stays put on my skin and makes my skin look even and healthy.
Also I love their eyeshadows since they are also very pigmented and does not crease at all!
Diorshow mascara is the best, it gives me dramatic doll like eyelashes and never clumps.

first things you have to be a good salesman when you go most of them will put you on the spot and make you do a make over or go grab a customer. I have worked with Benefit, Estee Lauder, Prescriptives and am currently at Lancome and what I look for when interviewing is do you have personality, are you quick on your feet, can you sell and of course natural talent. This industry is alot of fun but also very competetive. You have to be aggressive but also be a team player it is a hard thing to master but will help you on your way. Good Luck!!!

first things you have to be a good salesman when you go most of them will put you on the spot and make you do a make over or go grab a customer. I have worked with Benefit, Estee Lauder, Prescriptives and am currently at Lancome and what I look for when interviewing is do you have personality, are you quick on your feet, can you sell and of course natural talent. I was looking into getting the set for bringing out the blue in my eyes, and I was wondering if it is a good idea? Is the makeup good for what it says (intensifying eye color)? Firstly, I sympathise with you!
I recently decided to take up a new skin care routine too and was really worried about spending my money on more products which would cause more harm than good. Anyway, after much research, stress and free samples! I decided on the Clinque 3 Step system for oily and combination skin.
As you know that system includes the liquid soap for oily skin, the clarifying lotion #3 plus the dramatically different moisturising lotion and since then my skin has been almost blemish free! My pores have also reduced and my skin is dewy and glowing! YAY!

Which red you get will depend on your skin tone (if you are fair skinned you will want a red with a blue undertone, if you are a darker complexion you will want one with a coral undertone). For the eyes, line your eyes with a liquid liner. Unless you have a very steady hand and can make a straight line, do little flecks and then connect them at the end. Wing the liner out over your eyes to get the cat eye. Finish off with a champagne coloured shadow and mascara (or fake lashes for more drama).

Revlon's new collection and makeup eraser pen?
I was thinking I might buy some of revlon's new limited edition collection and I was wondering what works, what doesn't and if it is really worth it, and I also wanted to know if the revlon makeup eraser pen works like they say it should.Revlon's new collection and makeup eraser pen?
I use the makeup eraser pen and a couple of things to watch out for:
1) It's kind of liquidy so after use dab the area you used it dry
2) after using it wipe it off so you don't get residue from the last use on yourself when you use it again.
And the limited edition collection:
The sugar sugar lip topping is a powder you can put ontop of your lipgloss, try to see if you would like that by puting a glitter powder (that you already have) ontop of your lipgloss
the midnight swirl gloss: its two glosses that you really need to make sure are mixed will or it won't look good
velvet creme lipstick: It is a lipstick that they said they use something to make it velvety smooth and soft, even if it isn't super smooth or soft it still is lipstick you can use
Bite Me Lipstain: It is a classic lipstain that if you wanted too you could probably use on your cheeks
Golden affair blush: It is made to sculpt cheeks but make sure that the two colors are blended together well enough that you can really tell that there are two separate colors
Pinch me blush: It is a light gel blush to give a natural looking flush, but test it before you buy because sometimes these blushes don't show up so well on darker skin
bare it all lotion: they say it is a lotion that has a very sheer tint of color so you might not have to worry about it looking like a mask, and they say it has a formula to make you look luminous and romantic
bare it all powder: going hand in hand with the above it is a light soft powder that they say illuminates the same way as the lotion
diamond lust shadow: this is one of the more foolproof products, it is a really sheer shadow with pearl powder which creates a beautiful diamond like look.
molten metal shadow: it is a liquid eyeshadow that comes in really firy colors, the first couple times you try it put it on lightly to make sure it dries right and doesn't drip into your eyes
bedroom eyes eyeliner: It is a powder eyeliner that is ment to look really sexy because it is sort of smudged and smoky, just it could get a little messy so you may need a little makeup remover for touch ups
lash jewels: This one is the biggest risk because you are running a risk that you can easily mess up putting on the crystals, and they might not harden and just be liquidy and disgusting and even run into your eye
All the nail polishes and appliques are going to be pretty foolproof. the pink polish is really good for something sweet and innocent and the darker one is good for more sexy and seductive. and the appliques can go with the two polishes above (there are two colors one sweet and romantic and the other darker and more seductive) or put on top of another nail enamal.

I am totally throwing out all of my make up collection and starting over again as i need new makeup.i want to try new brands/products as i was unhappy with a lot of the products in my old collection.I need the following things:
Mascara- I have long eyelashes already so im not looking for one thats really lengthening. The most important thing i look for in my mascara is that it doesn't clump and one that i don't need to put heaps of coats on to get a nice finish.
Eyeshadow - I have brown eyes so i want colors that suit brown eyes. i love neutrals and chocolates/espressos/browns shades and id like eyeshadow that isnt too shimmery, more matte as im wearing it during the day.
Liquid eyeliner- Ive never used liquid eyeliner but i want to start using it so it has to be easy for a beginner to use. I want one with a matte finish that is easy to apply and does not fade or run. In a black shade.
Pencil eyeliner- Either retractable or normal, it doesn't worry me. I want two, one in a black shade and one in a brown shade. I want one that doesn't smudge easily and i don't have to keep reapplying during the day but one that i can blend into my lash line.
Foundation- Can be liquid, powder, mineral, i don't care what. I want one that gives my skin a clean, natural, fresh look and that is not too heavy on my skin or will clog my pores
Lip colour- Either gloss , stain or lipstick. I want two, one in a berry shade and one in a nude shade. I want one that doesn't run and doesn't feel too heavy.
I live in Australia so i want brands that are available here or globally, such as Maybelline, Covergirl, Revlon, Max Factor etc. I also don't want to spend more than $35 dollars per item. So any suggestions of products i can get?

Hi, I saw this and as I have tried a lot of different cosmetics in search of really good ones at good prices, I thought I may be able to help! Each of these items are under $20.
For mascara, I suggest Covergirl Lashblast. It's mostly a thickening mascara, but goes on smoothly, and doesn't flake or smudge, and washes off easily. You only need one or two coats. It didn't irritate my eyes at all. I HATE Covergirl mascaras, but heard good things about this one and thought I would give it a try, and it's excellent. The applicator is pretty large compared to other mascaras and just takes a little getting used to- but it's worth it.
For eyeshadow, I really like Almay's eyeshadow trios for specific eye colors. One of my eyes is brown and the other is hazel, so I have used both the sets for brown and hazel eyes. They have 2 different kinds for each eye color- an ';everyday'; set ( for brown eyes, it includes a chocolate brown, a light beige, and a light purple shade) and one called Play-It-UP, for a ';nighttime look'; ( for brown eyes, it includes a deep purple, a medium purple, and a pearly white shade) The colors are nice and go on well. They have a little shimmer, but nothing ridiculous looking. You don't have to always use all three shades in the set either... for example you could use the brown and beige for everyday, and maybe if you're feeling adventurous, try out the purple shade with the other two, etc. I mix them up depending on how I feel and what I'm wearing that day
-----%26gt; You didn't mention this in your question, but I think it will really help- you should pick up an eyeshadow primer. It helps your eyecolor stay put and not fade. I just picked up a new one the other day: Neutrogena eye tints/primer in ';petal';, I think. Just rub some over your eyelid with your finger before you apply your eyeshadow. I feel it helped my eyeliner stay put, as well. It works really well and makes your eyes feel more awake. Definitely give this a try.
As for liquid eyeliner, I converted to this two years ago, and I love it. I use Almay again for this. They have it in a black shade, and it has a smooth felt-tip applicator, so it doesn't flick the liner all over your face when you put it on. I've never had any problems with it, but liquid eyeliner does take some practice at first.
For a pencil eyeliner, I would go with Almay again. It comes in pencil form and I've only gotten the black one, and it's really good- it doesn't smudge and goes on smoothly. I think you'd like it.
For foundation, I suggest Physician's Formula mineral loose powder foundation. I have pretty nice skin, but like to even the tone out and cover up the occasional blemish, and this works well for that. It isn't heavy and disgusting, and feels good on your skin. Just apply it with a large brush. If you feel it's settling on your skin a little too noticeably, I just lightly pat on a small amount of my facial moisturizer to even it out.
Lastly, for lip color, I use one by Covergirl in a shiny silver tube. Sorry I can't remember the name of the lipstick line, but I'm sure you could find it. I think the color of it was called ';nude';, It goes on smoothly and looks nice. As for a berry color, I would just look through the Covergirl lipcolors in the line of the nude one I mentioned. I don't use berry or red shades at all, so sorry I can't be of more help in that department. I'm sure you could find a good color though.

the foundation gives good coverage, you can sleep with it on, they have good shades, its not very expensive.
the eyeshadows are really nice and pigmented, i love them, i recommend the 88 matte pallette.
they also have very good brushes. very soft.
they also have eyeliners etc.
Good for you for updating your make-up and your look! I absolutely LOVE everything that Smashbox puts out and, aside from my lip colors and mascaras, use it exclusively.
For lips I recommend Outlast by Cover Girl. It comes in lots of shades so you can pick the perfect berry and nude. It's a two step process. First, you apply the color to your lips and let it dry. (It doesn't take long.) Second, you apply the gloss. What's great about Outlast is that it really will last, even through a meal! The only ';touch-up'; I do with Outlast is carry the gloss with me to keep my lips moisturized - the color stays fresh and pretty.
Mascara - Maybelline's Great Lash comes in black, soft black, brown, and an indigo. It is easy to apply - just remember that if you are adding more than one coat to do it while your lashes are still wet with the first coat. I don't know why, but it works best that way. :) Great Lash is packaged in a pink and green tube and has been around a long time but it is still the best I've ever used, and I've tried many. It also comes in a regular and a waterproof formula - they each work well but I feel the regular is gentler to the lashes.
Eyeshadow - Smashbox has many colors to complement your brown eyes. They come in little pots and last a long time. They also usually come with the proper brushes for application. Some have a touch of glitter but all are appropriate for a day or night look - depends on how you do it.
Liquid and pencil eyeliner - I've given up on liquid eyeliners because I cannot find one that doesn't flake or peel or leave too harsh of a line. Instead, I use Smashbox's liners - also in pots - which also come with a straight, hard-bristled brush. The key to application is coating the tip of the brush with the liner and ';walking'; it from the inside of your eye to the outer corner. You can smudge these if you want, do a light line, or get fairly heavy-handed; they stay on and look great all day or night. There is very little to no smudging unless you want that look and do it when you first apply it. The liner is also available in various colors from Smashbox.
Foundation - Liquids are too messy for me and don't look natural, while mineral makeups haven't done much for my coloring, either. Smashbox has a non-foundation foundation called Halo. It is a hydrating treatment and makeup in once that absolutely gives your skin a fresh healthy glow that is natural looking. Also, because it contains ingredients that are healthy for your skin, you will probably notice a difference in the elasticity and skin tone of your face. (Smashbox also has a pot of blush that looks very pinkish but goes on so softly you can barely detect it; it just helps you look like you are glowing from the inside out. I like to use it over my Halo.)
As to where to purchase Smashbox, if you have QVC on television or QVC.com, I get my best prices there - and great service, too. There is also a home site at Smashbox.com AND eBay sellers often offer these products. The Maybelline and Cover Girl for the eyes and lips can probably be gotten anywhere.

i can only help you with a couple of things, but i hope it actually helps. for mascara, i like Rimmel glam eyes. it goes on clean and it looks great. for foundation, i.d. bare minerals is the way to go. it is light, and it just blends in with your skin. you dont even have to use that much. for lip gloss, i love covergirl wetslicks (any kind) and i also like rimmel sweet jelly. just make sure to get shiny gloss, not a sparkly one. those look childish. hope this helps some. good luck with your new makeup! :)

I just picked up a new one the other day: Neutrogena eye tints/primer in ';petal';, I think. Just rub some over your eyelid with your finger before you apply your eyeshadow. I feel it helped my eyeliner stay put, as well. It works really well and makes your eyes feel more awake. Definitely give this a try.
As for liquid eyeliner, I converted to this two years ago, and I love it. I use Almay again for this. They have it in a black shade, and it has a smooth felt-tip applicator, so it doesn't flick the liner all over your face when you put it on. I've never had any problems with it, but liquid eyeliner does take some practice at first.
For a pencil eyeliner, I would go with Almay again. It comes in pencil form and I've only gotten the black one, and it's really good- it doesn't smudge and goes on smoothly. I think you'd like it.
For foundation, I suggest Physician's Formula mineral loose powder foundation. I have pretty nice skin, but like to even the tone out and cover up the occasional blemish, and this works well for that. It isn't heavy and disgusting, and feels good on your skin. Just apply it with a large brush. If you feel it's settling on your skin a little too noticeably, I just lightly pat on a small amount of my facial moisturizer to even it out.
Lastly, for lip color, I use one by Covergirl in a shiny silver tube. Sorry I can't remember the name of the lipstick line, but I'm sure you could find it. I think the color of it was called ';nude';, It goes on smoothly and looks nice. As for a berry color, I would just look through the Covergirl lipcolors in the line of the nude one I mentioned. I don't use berry or red shades at all, so sorry I can't be of more help in that department. I'm sure you could find a good color though.

the foundation gives good coverage, you can sleep with it on, they have good shades, its not very expensive.
the eyeshadows are really nice and pigmented, i love them, i recommend the 88 matte pallette.
they also have very good brushes. very soft.

Good for you for updating your make-up and your look! I absolutely LOVE everything that Smashbox puts out and, aside from my lip colors and mascaras, use it exclusively.
For lips I recommend Outlast by Cover Girl. It comes in lots of shades so you can pick the perfect berry and nude. It's a two step process. First, you apply the color to your lips and let it dry. (It doesn't take long.) Second, you apply the gloss. What's great about Outlast is that it really will last, even through a meal! The only ';touch-up'; I do with Outlast is carry the gloss with me to keep my lips moisturized - the color stays fresh and pretty.
Mascara - Maybelline's Great Lash comes in black, soft black, brown, and an indigo. It is easy to apply - just remember that if you are adding more than one coat to do it while your lashes are still wet with the first coat. I don't know why, but it works best that way. :) Great Lash is packaged in a pink and green tube and has been around a long time but it is still the best I've ever used, and I've tried many. It also comes in a regular and a waterproof formula - they each work well but I feel the regular is gentler to the lashes.
Eyeshadow - Smashbox has many colors to complement your brown eyes. They come in little pots and last a long time. They also usually come with the proper brushes for application. Some have a touch of glitter but all are appropriate for a day or night look - depends on how you do it.
Liquid and pencil eyeliner - I've given up on liquid eyeliners because I cannot find one that doesn't flake or peel or leave too harsh of a line. Instead, I use Smashbox's liners - also in pots - which also come with a straight, hard-bristled brush. The key to application is coating the tip of the brush with the liner and ';walking'; it from the inside of your eye to the outer corner. You can smudge these if you want, do a light line, or get fairly heavy-handed; they stay on and look great all day or night. There is very little to no smudging unless you want that look and do it when you first apply it. The liner is also available in various colors from Smashbox.
Foundation - Liquids are too messy for me and don't look natural, while mineral makeups haven't done much for my coloring, either. Smashbox has a non-foundation foundation called Halo. It is a hydrating treatment and makeup in once that absolutely gives your skin a fresh healthy glow that is natural looking. Also, because it contains ingredients that are healthy for your skin, you will probably notice a difference in the elasticity and skin tone of your face. (Smashbox also has a pot of blush that looks very pinkish but goes on so softly you can barely detect it; it just helps you look like you are glowing from the inside out. I like to use it over my Halo.)
As to where to purchase Smashbox, if you have QVC on television or QVC.com, I get my best prices there - and great service, too. There is also a home site at Smashbox.com AND eBay sellers often offer these products. The Maybelline and Cover Girl for the eyes and lips can probably be gotten anywhere.

i can only help you with a couple of things, but i hope it actually helps. for mascara, i like Rimmel glam eyes. it goes on clean and it looks great. for foundation, i.d. bare minerals is the way to go. it is light, and it just blends in with your skin. you dont even have to use that much. for lip gloss, i love covergirl wetslicks (any kind) and i also like rimmel sweet jelly. just make sure to get shiny gloss, not a sparkly one. those look childish. hope this helps some. good luck with your new makeup! :)

Go for the natural look at first, because that is what we should look like. Get a brown and/or white eyeliner (brown is more subtle than black, and white makes your eye whites pop).
Also, the foundation is good, but you might want to try out mineral foundation... it's a bit messier, but it's light on your face, if you get what I mean. And plus, it sets in your liquid/mousse foundation.
Also, get a lip gloss that is a shade or two off your own natural lip colour. That'll give it a natural shine without looking too overdone.

the girls on Youtube seem to spend like litteraly $500 on makeup when they do their hauls. and I want to well, not get a whole crazy collection, put have a decent pile...I like MAC, and Loreal HIP..... but I am in college working part time making only about $8-900 a month

I think your makeup actually looks very nice! You should splurge on essentials like lipgloss, blush, and eyeliner. Buy products that expire quickly, like mascara or nail polish, from a drugstore. Get medium eyeshadow, not too expensive, but still nice. Accept that people think you're older, it's a sign you're mature. Honestly, don't worry about what other people use. Use whatever you think looks good on you. I suggest sticking to the basics. Mac is good, but it's expensive as well and there's no point in wasting your money on it if it does the same job as cheaper brands.
For everyday makeup I suggest going simple, like eyeliner only on the top your eyelid, not on the bottom.
And keep one color eyeliner, instead of using odd colors like green/blue ect.

ive tried miss sporty's foundation, and i think its terrible, no coverage whatsoever! it may be good for you if you havent got anything really to cover up but i really dislike it, sometimes i just use it as a base and then apply a second foundation ontop
ive tried their concealer, its okay, but you need to touch up regularly %26amp; ive also tried their translucent powder just over my foundation which was okay and did blot my oil out but you do have to keep touching up.
I use natural collection eye-shadows and I think they are great. I once got a compliment whilst wearing one by a girl who always wears mac so now I use the stuff everyday! My favourite shade is White Opal which is a pretty white gold. When I was younger about 13, I used Miss Sporty, its ok but I wouldn't personally recommend it. xxx

I always take everything I use at home with me. I have moisturizer, citrus facial stuff, foundation, concealer, Blush, Eye shadow, Eye Liner, Eye crystals, Mascara, Lip liner, and lip stick. I usually have a lip gloss called tonic with me, but I lost it. I also have a Blush Brush, a Shadow brush, and a Smudge brush.
Everthing I use (except mascara) is from Merle Norman.
I always carry mascara, mattefier, and lips gloss with me. I don't wear make-up everyday so I keep the basics with me in case I just want to freshen up in case I go out after work. I dont' need the whole make-up case for that.

Hey there you makeup junkies! Which blush color from the Nars collection do you think look best on me?
Ok, I have no picture to show you how I look like, but I will describe myself in words and hopefully it will help at least a little. I'm Asian, my skin tans easily rather than burn, warm-toned, chestnut brown hair color (my hair is naturally black but I colored it), %26amp; brown eyes. I bought ';gina'; because I thought I looked good in an orangey shade since I'm warm, not cool. But it looks too orange and fake if you know what I mean. I rather wear peach because it gives me that healthy glow and highlights my cheeks. I don't wear pink because it makes me look kind of washed out, so I prefer peach. Oh yeah, I like shimmery blushes, not matte because I like the healthy glow. Which color from Nars blushes do you think looks best on me? And the other thing I bought that I loved is the NARS multiple orgasm set two. The bronzer is great to to contour the cheeks and the blush was more of a pink peach color that looked natural. I liked to layer the two colors as well. My mother bought the gina and it looked weird on her as well she just returned it for a different shade.Hey there you makeup junkies!
