When I try to throw the chopped lumber to make a fence, it doesn't work! I keep pressing the screen with my stylus again and again, but it doesn't work until, like, one minute later! Any tips?

It's definitely a different control system than many games, but what appeared to work for me was putting the stylus on the lumber(or any other item) and dragging it to a desired location adjacent to you.
